The Customer Services team manages media equipment loans and bookings via the intranet based booking system.
We provide general advice about the equipment and its use in the locations available to you, and can provide you with
support in using the booking system if you are not familiar with it.

We also deal with your bookings for the studio or audio visual equipment and set-up requests, ensuring the equipment
you book is ready for use at the start of your booking or event.

There is a wide range of Learning Resource equipment available for you to borrow and, if you require assistance,
we are able to advise you on the most appropriate items for completion of your project.
To ensure that equipment is in good working order, we check all items before they are loaned out and again on return.

Items for loan can be booked in advance, in line with item availability and acceptable loan periods.
Please be aware, there are specific loan periods for each item and you will need to return the equipment within
that time as there are usually waiting lists for items.

If you haven’t used the equipment before, or require a refresher, we can provide some general instruction in the use of the
equipment - If you need more in-depth instruction, you will need to book some skills development on the facilities we support.

As well as dealing with loans and specialist media equipment, we are able to make copies of digital media, and offer advice on copyright law constraints where appropriate.
